“Teleconsultation and teleinterconsultation: Shared Multiprofessional Experience in health”

Teleconsulting: is the act of consultancy mediated by Information and Communication Technologies between doctors, managers and other health professionals, with the purpose of providing clarifications (in text) on procedures, protocols, diagnoses, prescriptions and health actions. The answers provided are based on scientific evidence and adapted to local-regional particularities.

Teleinterconsultation: allows access for SUS patients to various health specialties through sharing care, requested by the general practitioner, creating a triangulation with the specialist doctor through Information and Communication Technologies in Health Promotion, with or without the presence of the patient, using audiovisual resources.

Point of Care Exams for Telehealth are diagnostic procedures performed in real time and close to the patient, using portable technologies connected to the digital network. These exams are designed to provide immediate and accurate results, allowing healthcare professionals to perform remote assessments and clinical decisions without the need for the patient to be physically present. This is especially useful in telehealth scenarios, where physical distance can be an obstacle to quickly accessing medical care.
